Buying Into Buzz...

We always hear of "buzz bands", those that are constantly blogged about or Pitchfork is willing to grant them a 7.3 for an album, or they're in the "up and coming" sections of your favorite mags.

Well Hercules and Love Affair was one of these bands and damn do they deserve the buzz! The entire album is excellent. It's like a "discoier" LCD soundsystem and you need to get the album.

Next Epic Track??

Soulwax has finally remixed MGMT's "Kids" and thanks to Erol Alkan we can get a lil preview of the track. Even though the quality is not excellent it already sounds better than Justice's remix of Electric Feel. Enjoy:

Videos...

Recently, I've seen two very impressive, visually stimulating videos. I love when artists actually put enough effort in the video as they do in the music itself. (some should put more into the music, but thats another story.) Here are two recent videos, one is Radiohead, of course. The second is just an excuse for some shoe marketing, but a cool vid nonetheless.

Best Batman Yet??

Apparently these are the first five minutes of the new Batman movie. As if you didn't want to see it already...
